This section is used to control who is allowed to view your store and purchase items from it. Only the members you define in this section will be allowed access to your store. SORTING: Members are initially shown in alphabetical order by member name (last, first) but you do have the option to change the order by clicking on any of the "SORT BY..." buttons shown. If you click the SORT BY LAST NAME button, the store will display the member list in last name order. Clicking on the SORT BY MEMBER ID button will show the member list in member ID order. This Page: the web page you are currently looking at shows you a list of all of the members currently authorized to access your store and purchase items from it. Each member's "record" is shown on its own line and each member has its own EDIT and DELETE buttons to the right of its name and ID. If the list is empty, it means you have not defined any members - click the ADD NEW button to add the first member. Status: also shown on this page is the member's "current status". If it's set to "Active", the member will be allowed to use their assigned Member ID and Password to access your store. If it's set to "Terminated", they will no longer be allowed to access your store and purchase items. NOTE: member records can be set to automatically expire (terminate) at some point in the future (by calendar date). To add a new member to the list, click on the ADD NEW button. To change an existing member, click the EDIT button shown to the right of the member's information. NOTE: each member listed has its own EDIT button. To delete an existing member, click the DELETE button shown to the right of the member's information. |
