E-Mail List Control

This feature is optional and these fields can be left blank if you do not want to use this feature. However, if you would like the store to collect and verify customer e-mail addresses, please activate this feature and complete the fields below. When active, the store will display an input box that asks the customer to sign-up for your e-mail or newsletter list. The store will then send an e-mail to the customer asking them to verify their e-mail address by clicking on a return verification link that will be contained in the verification e-mail.

IMPORTANT: When you have activated and completed the fields below, you will need to add a special marker called {{EMAIL_LIST}} to one of your skin pages or store display fields in order for the email address input box to show. For more information, please click the HELP button above.

Activate This Feature*	This is used to turn the E-mail List feature on or off in your store. To activate it, click the YES option above, and then complete the remaining fields below. If you click NO, everything below will be disabled for your store.
Email Format*	Send as Plain Text Send as HTML Email
Email Format*	When email is sent for this section of the store, two e-mail formats are available for use. This setting tells the store which format to use: "Send as Plain Text" or "Send as HTML E-mail". TIP: Since not all e-mail programs can read HTML e-mail text, it's recommended that you select the "Send as Plain Text" option. IMPORTANT: If you choose "Send as HTML E-mail", be sure the email text fields below contain properly formatted HTML to allow the E-mail messages to display correctly.

Input Box Title	Join our Email List!
Input Box Title	This field is used to display information above the e-mail address and name input fields.
Email Field Size*
Email Field Size*	This controls the physical size of the e-mail address input field. The customer will be allowed to enter up to 90 characters into this field regardless of the displayed size. The default size is 25.
Name Field Size*
Name Field Size*	This controls the physical size of the customer first and last name input fields. The customer will be allowed to enter up to 90 characters into these fields regardless of the displayed size. The default size is 15.
Input Box Notes	Please enter your email address into the field above.<br> We will then send you an email which contains a link<br> that you must use to verify your email address.
Input Box Notes	This field is used to display information below the input fields.
Result Page Message*	Thank you for joining our email list. We have just sentt an email to you which contains a link that you must use to verify your email address.
Result Page Message*	Enter the text to display on the result page immediately after the customer enters their e-mail address and name to join your email list.

Verification Email Title*
Verification Email Title*	Use this field to control the title of the verification e-mail that is sent to the customer to validate their e-mail address.
Verification Email Text*	Please click the link above to validate your email address.
Verification Email Text*	Use this field to control the body of the verification e-mail's text. Enter the text you would like store to include in the verification e-mail sent to the customer. NOTE: The store will automatically insert the verification link that the customer must click on to validate their e-mail address. This link will be inserted at the very top of the e-mail so the customer can find it easily. This field can contain HTML if the E-mail Format field above has been set to "Send as HTML Email".
Verification Email Return Address*
Verification Email Return Address*	Enter the e-mail address that should be used as the "Reply To" address when the verification e-mail is sent to the customer.
Result Page Message*	Thank you for verifying your email address. Your address has been added to our mailing list.
Result Page Message*	Enter the text to display on the results page immediately after the customer verifies their e-mail address by clicking on the link contained in the verification e-mail.
E-mail Address Removal
Removal Instructions*	To have your email address automatically removed from our list, click on the link below.
Removal Instructions*	Enter the removal instructions you would like to add to the outgoing email that you will be sending to your customer list. These instructions will be added to the very end of the outgoing email automatically. NOTE: the store will automatically add a return link to the removal instructions above. This link can then be used by the customer to unsubscribe or remove their email address from your list. This field can contain HTML if the E-mail Format field above has been set to "Send as HTML Email".
Result Page Message*	Your email address has been removed from our mailing list.
Result Page Message*	Enter the text to display on the results page immediately after the customer removes their e-mail address by clicking on the link added to the removal instructions.

Notification Email Address	If you would like to be notified (via email) when customers verify or remove their email address from your mailing list, enter an email address in the field above. If this field is blank, the store won't notify you of these events.
